    Default 2 Untangle boxes

My site has two UT's on different subnets. Some users are directed to the second box by gateway. How will this work with AD connector on both boxes?
I believe the VB script will only report to one UT.

Yup, the AD script will only report to a single Untangle.

That said, the AD script is deployed by AD, so you could publish the login script by computer as opposed to user so the right script goes to the right place.

Or you nix the idea of the login script and use the Captive Portal.

Hmm... I suppose I could try to have the script check IP subnet and based on that, report to the other UT. Would not know how to get round this though.

I will be looking into captive portal.

    Thanks

I was thinking you just organize your AD computer accounts into OUs based on which gateway they used, and applying two copies of the script, one to each OU.
