Question Can the server counters reset daily? Please?

If the numbers on the servers in the Virtual rack dont reset every night after the reports run... what good are they?
People report them changing every X days (no one seems to have a definate answer).. Some say after a reboot, some say weekly.

These numbers would be most useful if I logged in and they were current for the day.

They reset when the UVM resets. I'm guessing that if we made this change we'd annoy at least some of the other tens of thousands of users out there.

I've never understood why you make statements like that.

Because my box has been resetting itself every time the reports run. I wake up to 0 events on the GUI. So either it's crashing every night, and I have no .crash files or the thing is resetting itself. I'm not sure when that started... and now you have me thinking it isn't normal.

I looked at the webfilter for example, the uvm reset when it upgraded to 7.4 last week.
The gui shows 46 pages blocked.
The log shows one block for today.
That is appropriate for the install.

I could do screenshots again, but geez, I get really tired of feeling like I have to prove every observation I make, so I may or may not, who knows, maybe they fixed it for 7.4 but from the numbers on the gui, that appears unlikely.

Haha both are likely true. Of course this installation of mine has been under a silly amount of strain due to my own stupidity configuring it. So it is entirely possible I have been crashing my UVM for quite awhile. It's amazing the things you get used to.

Could you install an option to have it operate one way or the other?
(Then we wouldn't have to annoy anyone)
