    Default Web Filtering

The webfiltering needs to accept wildcards, without it, it is pointless.

Ok you have categories set out, but say I want to block wikipedia. I can't as the url feature does not allow wildcards.

To me this is a massive issue and until you can do this it is way behind the other filtering systems out there

Totally agree to that. Filter does need this functionality.

Well, I don't know why it didn't work for you, but blocking *.wikipedia.org seemed to block both en.wikipedia.org and it.wikipedia.org for me. Verified on both 5.0.3 and 5.1. Wanna try again?

It blocks the first page, but say I click on a link from google, such as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/about.php it lets you straight in.

Wikipedia blocked. I went to Google and asked for a link on "wikipedia". First link was their entry page...it blocked too. Back to Google and asked for California & wikipedia. It blocked as well.

Wouldn't just blocking the domain without using a wildcard block that parent domain, it's child domain and any directory inside those domains?

    I'm pretty sure it does.
