    Default NGFW v12.0 beta bugs & nit-picking

OK first post is an error that was thrown last night after the upgrade.

The v12 box is DHCPed on my home network 192.168.113.0/24
When I installed the v12 box, I gave it 192.168.41.1/24 as a router.
A laptop is the one client so far.
After the upgrade, I used the laptop to restore a v11.2 backup from the 192.168.113.1 box. I selected everything except networking, because I could not have 192.168.113.0/24 on both internal and external

It threw a 'Bad Gateway' error, screenshot attached. sry, I did not think to check the logs. It did proceed to re-start the VM and is working, with the proper numbers everywhere.

mebbe the cart was before the horse???

Oh, BTW, I really like the new error detail frame - good stuff!

    Default graphics & visual impressions

I do not like the buttons on the left lighting up green when hovering over them, exactly the same as the button that was previously selected. It makes it hard to tell which one I am going to push without squinting for the cursor. you say to put my glasses on when I have to squint? harrumph, I am not getting old.
If you think I got Grumpy

    Default 'X'

This started with v11, I think.

I do not like the same red X icon being used for both delete and 'go back' (generally on the bottom right, sometimes both on the same screen). It scares me.

Actually, I have never liked the red X icon being used for 'go back'. with most GUIs now-adays, it means delete.

Can we please please get a yellow arrow icon for the 'go back' button?

Where are you seeing that icon used for delete?

I have seen an error thrown twice now, and have not been able to capture a screenshot, or view details. It appears to occur after having made a number of changes in config/networking, using [apply] after each one. Then, using [OK] at the end. The error (from memory) is like:
cannot read property "suspend.events" of null

    Default not unexpected

I semi-intentionally mis-configured dnsmasq advanced and got this.

Of course, I had to go to syslog to find which line I messed up.

    not complaining, just reporting.
