Default Command Center Alert - HOW for firewall that goes down?

So I am trying to creating an alert rule in command center for when a firewall goes down. I could not find an alert that told me that my firewall went down, so I intentionally failed the external interface and the only "Alert" that I see in command center only gets logged when the firewall goes back online:

    Untangle Appliance Connected

Needless to say, "Connected" is the opposite of going down. I NEVER see an alert in the event log for when the firewall goes offline.

Am I missing something here? How do I use Command Center to issue me an email alert when the firewall fails or goes offline ?

Connected is a one time event; on first connection. Unfortunately that type of alert is not possible at the moment.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I have such an alert rule in Command Center using the Events--Alerts Received report. The string from the report used to trigger the alert rule is "Untangle Appliance Disconnected."

    Ah...really...?

    from: https://support.untangle.com/hc/en-u...r-Alert-Rules-

For example, when an Untangle appliance in your account goes offline (stops calling home), or when an infected computer is discovered on the network, an Alert Rule can trigger an email and page technicians.

    Sam -

I never see this notice for any of my firewalls when they go offline. I ONLY see the Connected message:

Perhaps Command Center polling is slower than you expect?

I don't think so, I waited over 24 hours after disconnecting it. When I reconnect it I get the Appliance Connected message, but we never get the Disconnected message.

Humm, interesting. Have you received a Disconnected alert?

That's odd indeed. I can't suggest any cause. For me, it "just works" across two appliances. One of them is an old PC, so nothing special on the hardware side.

Maybe someone from the staff can shed light on what we're missing?
