    Question FR: DNS over TLS

Several Linux distros now have the DNS over TLS feature. Can this feature be considered for a future release?

What I'm talking about is the public side of UT being encrypted with TLS. Of course any client behind the NGFW will be forwarded on. I'm just looking to privatize all the DNS requests from user or server machines on my network.

Here is a link to the specific suggestion for DNS/TLS, and it can be upvoted.

Others seem to think DNScrypt is a better idea. I wasn't aware of it.

One note, Linux OS have DNS over TLS as a client, it's another story to be a DNS server.
