You need two external IPs on the Untangle to forward to two internal servers on the same port. The port forward rule will use Destination IP address of one external interface IP address for each server.

Source port is not predictable; only destination port is.

    Source port is entirely predicable!

    It's somewhere between 1024 and 65535!

Not all that useful for firewall use of course, but still, it's predicable!

    Question

Based on what I read here and using the latest 9.3.1 are these the correct settings for the SMTP block?

As long as your pass rule preceeds the block rule, yes.

I usually block all outbound SMTP and then set a bypass rule for the mail servers outbound SMTP traffic. I hate seeing outbound email in the untangle log, thats what message tracking is for. Firewall for finding the rogues not using the mail server.

In the first message in this thread, the screenshots showing firewall settings are not showing up. Just two icons representing

    and
    http://wiki.untangle.com/images/6/6c/Blockemail.JPG

Neither jpg can be found. Can you fix this?

    Thanks!
