    Question Confused

    Hello !

I'm confused about firewall. My task is to block outgoing traffic at all and leave only tcp 80,443 and udp 53

I've read on wiki to block icmp I went to config-network- filer rules
    Protocol ICMP - block.
That's fine now I cant ping from my network.

Also Ive read on wiki I have to make rule on firewall just block ( No conditions - block)
Ive created rule for port 443 tcp and 80 tcp and 53 udp. And still skype calls works and etc. But it uses udp for calling.

Am I wrong somehere? here is screenshotconfusion.jpg

Use the reports to look at the sessions.
Do you see any sessions that should be blocked that are not blocked?

Skype will work fine with just 443 and 53 open.

    What you get depends on:
    1) What you buy
    2) What your hardware supports

The linksys doesn't support all functions
