Default Port 10 Open by default?

I did a test at https://www.grc.com/shieldsup and it indicated that port 10 was open. This was the only port forund to be open by the test. I have a basic setup at home on untangle with very few modifications. My firewall has no rules enabled and is set at factory stock.

Is is expected to have port 10 shown as open? Is it a false positive?

Untangle opens nothing by default, you've either configured something to open it, or your installation media is corrupt.

Also, careful the rest of your posts are making you look a lot like a spam bot.

I can't think of anything that I configured that would open port 10 and the firewall has no rules. Do you know of another site that I can use to test to see if I have ports open just in case that is a false positive?

The firewall has nothing to do with open ports from the outside. You either have to play with filter rules, or port forwards.

I have no port forwards or filter rules set.

I found the following thread where this guy had the same issue. I tried a different port scanner and it also showed port 10 as open.

And yet no resolution, because what you're talking about simply doesn't happen. We have no idea what you've done to your installation to cause this. The only thing I can tell you is, it's not normal. I can also say the intrusion prevention module does some crazy things, but not on that port, at least not that I've seen.

By default there are no open ports from the Internet to the WAN interface if Untangle is the edge firewall and routing traffic. BUT, if there is a bridged interface (DMZ) to the WAN, there are no ports blocked as expected.

Wht you say makes sense but it isn’t in bridged mode and port 10 is the only port that is open.
