    Question Linksys WRT3200ACM

    Hello,

I am a little hesitant to ask this kind of question; but while I am doing some research of my own, what are my chances of getting it to work on the WRT3200ACM? I have been following the Davidc502 development, myself.

Is there a specific chipset I am looking for? I may not care about the radios for this evaluation, for that matter.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Jim,

We will be providing a build for Linksys WRT3200ACM. You will need a specific build. The build for Linksys WRT1900ACS won't run on the WRT3200ACM. We'll let you know when it's available.

Yes, I see that the WRT1900AC is similar to the WRT3200ACM and the WRT32x, but the latter two have the required 512MB of RAM

This is very good news, thank you!

As of Sunday 21st July I am now running the Beta version "v0.1.0beta1-214-gd4793f7570" on a WRT1900ACS version 1.

Is there a simple way to ruturn to stock firmware should I have cause to revert ?

    Regards

    KK

I added instructions for reverting to the original firmware to the installation guide.

Unfortunately I have had to back out. My configuration was ISP Modem running OpenWRT 18.06.04 (Netgear DM202) with a DHCP eth connection to WRT1900WRT (running Untangle Beta code) I found that I was losing DNS resolution ( Cloudflare 1.1.1.1.&1.0.0.1) I was unable to find the issue. So reverted back to native Firmware, checked it was ok then downloaded OpenWRT 18.06.4 for the Linksys. Its back to being stable. No configuration changes was made to the DM202.

Any estimation on an ETA of this? I've been keeping my eye on eBay auctions for the wrt32x.
