Default New Untangle SD-WAN Router beta posted

We have a new beta version available. We are now close to feature complete, and there have been many changes to features and to the UI.

Key changes for this beta are
    - Dashboard UI Changes
    - Changes to WAN Rules and conditions
    - Ability to route based on Application Name with our 'Predictive routing' service
    - Changes to upgrading through the UI
    - Changes to the Setup wizard
    - Minor UI changes and fixes

For more information on Untangle SD-WAN Router, see our SD-WAN Router documentation

The easiest way to try out Untangle SD-WAN Router is to set it up on Oracle VirtualBox or on VMware ESXi. It is also available to install on a Linksys WRT 1900 ACS device, with more options coming soon.

how about adding OpenVPN server to this? (assuming it's not already there - I haven't played with this yet, but there's no mention of VPN server functions in the documentation that I've seen)

I'm sure there are plenty of scenarios where you'd want two SD-WAN routers to connect to each other directly, or you'd want to make a direct client VPN connection. This would also make it a good replacement for the now-defunct linksys-wrt version of NGFW.

Thanks for the feedback. Use case appreciated! Initially, we'll be providing the ability to use OpenVPN to connect to something like NG Firewall. We will be adding more options for VPN in the future and will keep this in mind.

Upgrade progress bar does not end. There is a Jira ticket open for this. Just refresh the browser.

    Hi,

I'm using previous beta version (219) on ESXi: it's possible in some way to upgrade to last beta version or I must to reinstall it (via vmdk)?

    Thanks

I think you can follow this procedure. I haven't installed sd-wan yet to be certain
