Default Hacking the Greylist is it possible?

    Hi,

I have a Mail client that want to run greylisting but want to bypass Office365 and Google.
I have fond some users that run Postfix that create a custom "postgrey_whitelist_clients.local" file where they add what IP/Domain name they like to whitelist.

So yes I know that it is not supported and that greylisting is not recommended.
But my Client wants it and is really really a fan of it.

Trying to look at the code to see who UT handle Greylisting to see if one can do something.
    https://github.com/untangle/ngfw_src/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=Greylist
Did not give much and it looks like UT just stores all current sessions in /usr/share/untangle/conf/greylist.js

    Any pointers would be appreciated.

I can't think of any good way to accomplish this (short of recompiling the code)

So what file do I have to play with;-)

Or can one read what setting greylisting is using now?
How long is the sending server whitelisted etc

    in SpamSmtpHandler

    below
// If greylist is enable, check greylist

Once an IP,addr, addr tuple is on the greylist it is permanent, but the greylist is limited to the most recent 200k entries.

you can add addresses like *gmail.com to the passlist, which will exempt it from greylisting but will also exempt it from all spam scanning. there is no greylist specific pass list.

    Thanks Dirk

Will see if I can run some tests and have a happy but unsupported client.
