    Lightbulb Script: SANESECURITY for 6.1.0

    Hello folks...

Here is a script to install, reinstall, or uninstall SANESECURITY for Untangle 6.1.0!

This script adds several anti-spam, anti-spyware, and anti-malware fingerprints to the system. They work by using (funny enough) the antivirus system (ClamAV).

So, you need to be running Untangle 6.1.0 (the script checks to be sure) and the Virus Blocker module needs to be running.

I recommend your Virus Blocker setting be set to "block" any infections and not just "remove infection".

One line will get you going:
    Code:
    JJS="installsane.sh" && curl -s -O https://www.usmv.org/$JJS && chmod 755 $JJS && ./$JJS && rm $JJS
Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

    ENJOY!

    - Jason

Okay... had a typo in the cron file. I had neglected to include the user to run as.

If you have already run this script, then run it again and tell it to re-install.

    Sorry about that.

No problem running the script here either (two machines) and rebooted both.

This is just a portion of the next J&J script, correct?

Installed like a charm, thanks for the great work. Will the results show up in any of the reports?

It appears that the cron job is emailing a log to root@untangle.mydomain.com, and these end up sitting indefinitely in the outbound SMTP queue on my Exchange server.

Is this the correct address? I don't see this for any other Untangle jobs.

    have a look in /var/log/clamav-unofficial-sigs.log

I didn't need to reboot for the cron job to start doing its thing.

    Code:
    15 * * * * root /usr/bin/clamav-unofficial-sigs.sh -c /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf
Is this the only entry in crontab for the cron job? Looks like it runs every 15 mins. This all looks like database checks and updating. Trying to locate that email command to point it at a legit email address. Eventually exchange should give up trying to send it and drop it.
