    Default Msi im-q35

Does anyone have experience with this board - MSI IM-Q35?
I've been using an Intel DG41mj, but this board looks attractive because it also has LGA 775, but with dual intel nics on board.

Specs look good to me, I think those interfaces are supported with the new drivers shipping in 7.4.

The board is a bit expensive... but it does make for a nice small box.

Just talked with my supplier, that board is on such a back order they can't even estimate when one will be available... ouch.

Sky-Knight, Would the dual Intel nics on this board be as good as my dual server nic card that costs $180?

Doesn't my card have a processor on board to help process the traffic? and would this MSI board also have the Intel processor on it too?

This board would cost a bit less than the DG41mj plus Intel 2nic server card. Anyone have any idea about the performance of the on-board nics of the IM-Q35 vs. the Intel add-in server card?
The nics on the IM-Q35 are: 1x Intel 82566DM GbE LAN, 1x Intel 82573L GbE LAN

The intel interfaces on that board are low end server interfaces. So they will work pretty much everywhere. Heck, the 82573 on that board is the interface I'm using on some of the quad port cards I have floating around out there if that is an indication.
