u25x performance -- especially GUI vs BYO

Hi all, contemplating a u25x. Right now, I've been testing Untangle home on a left-over 5th gen Intel NUC using (gasp) a USB NIC for the second NIC. Moving around the GUI, including making changes and pulling up reports, is very snappy. Has anyone compared a u25x versus a BYO setup like mine? Should I expect similar performance?

The worst thing in your setup is usb nic. I would never use a firewall with usb nics. In your situation I would go for the 25X

USB NIC are not supported. They can stop working on any future version. Not to mention the performance is terrible.

Thanks, guys. I know about the USB NIC situation (hence the "gasp" in my OP). Specifically, I'm asking: how snappy is moving around the admin GUI on a U25x versus a "real" server? My experience has been that appliances can sometimes be annoyingly slow for GUI. I'm NOT asking about throughput of the device -- other posts have covered that.

u25X has a m.sata drive so it's quite quick.
