Default Older M Series For Home Use

    Hello,

New to the forums here. Looking to get an appliance but came across an old M series online. Can that be upgraded to the latest version? Will it handle a 1 gig connection at my home? Or should I just go and purchase a new z4?

Thanks in advance for any info

Honestly, most of our old ones could do gig too. Only the Atom powered units struggle, though the younger devices are better at it.

I believe it is a model number 1829? Seems like an older model.

In your experience would the z4 handle the gig connection?

So looking at the spec sheet it says

    NGFW Throughput* 500 Mbps.

So with all APPS turned on looks like it cant do gig, but maybe someone from UT or Rob could chime in.
