Default Rackmount & 10gig connection Recommendations.

After taking a break from Untangle to try a few Firewall devices, i'm coming back to what i really like with my subscriptions.

Looking for suggestions on a 1U device

Have about 15 vlans, 6 ipsec tunnels & 1 gig symmetrical connection from the isp. Thinking about a 10gig port for the switch side.

Thought's suggestions ? what are people using ?

    I know one member here is using a Supermicro SuperServer 5018D-FN8T 1U Rack-mountable Server - 1 x Xeon D-1518 - Serial ATA/600 Controller - 1 Processor Support - ASPEED AST2400 Graphic Card - 10 Gigabit Ethernet - 1 x 200 W
He has indicated it works very well. I am considering one of these as well.

I am in Ontario so I get it. It would appear that model is no longer being built by Supermicro ... what the are offering is even more expensive of course (~ 1,800 CAD).

Yeah i looked at that board too, but that motherboard on ebay ALONE USD $ is 550$ Then add ram & chassis & fans. Id be well over 900$.

My ho DL20 G10 was 700$ with 16 gigs ram & ready to go, i just added 50$ SSD to it, later on i will add a 10gig nic but that's later.
