Default Can I use the same SSD?

Unfortunately, my current device appears to have died. I will be buying a new device but plan to use the existing RAM and SSD. Can I just pop the SSD in and expect everything to work as it previously did? If not, I'll just get the same device which I presume should not cause issues.

It might work but I would not chance strange issues due to not having the right libraries. I would reinstall.

Linux is rather portable, so I'd expect it to boot. The larger issue will be getting it to properly accept the new network interfaces.

It is best not to cause unnecessary software conflicts.
