Should I use a PCIe network card?

Hello i currently have this system https://www.supermicro.com/products/...5019A-FTN4.cfm as my untangle server, Does it make sense to use a pcie network card? any benefits? for example the Intel PRO/1000VT

It's got 4x onboard 1GbE ports.

The only reasons you'd need a PCIe NIC is when;
a. 4x 1GbE is not enough
b. You need 10GbE connections, or
c. Somehow, the onboard ones aren't supported by Untangle (which is unlikely)
