    Default Z4 Question

    Hello,

This may sound like a silly question but how loud is the Z6 in normal operation. The location it will be installed in is very quiet and I don't need something that sounds like a SuperMicro server when it's powered on. I can usually find the dB in the specs of other appliances.

Appreciate any info you can provide.

If the Z6 is anything like the U150 i have there is 'some' noise (Note: it isnt server loud but is apparent) however, if you feel like tinkering you could probably replace the fans with quieter Noctua ones. That being said, i suspect that would void the warranty.

He could also Install some LNA devices ( low noise adapters ) Aslong as there is air moving through the device it should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. I should be fine if it is as loud as my Cisco switch.
