Thread: install fail

    Default install fail

    so i was able to install thisbefore and wanted to reinstall so i deleted everything using gparted and tired to install latest firmware but get a error msg file boot/grub/x86_64-ef i/normal.mod not found entering rescue mode was not able to install Ghub how can i fix this?

    i cant post link but i bought the hardware from amazon Micro Firewall Appliance from HUHSN

    It appears it was installed in legacy mode and the device has EFI partition. I would do a full wipe of the drive of it's partitions.

    i did the wipe few times same problem using gparted to wipe the drive. its a 64gig SSD

    I see the issue. The partition is zfs which is mainly FreeBSD. You need EXT$ format which most Linux system use.

    ok so went back to gparted and set it to EXT4 started installing UT and same problem again with the grub not able to install
