    Default 2.5 gb cards?

My new home modem has a 2.5 gb port and i was wondering if untangle is compadible with any 2.5 gb chipsets or cards? I am using a i350-t4 right now and it works great but wanted to get the extra 200 mb of speed i get from my 1200 mb internet.

    Please don't reboot your NGFW.
How can we make Arista ETM products better?

Come on you're supposed to let yourselves get bought out, have your entire company culture turned on its head, hire on a ton of new talent, set new long term goals, AND rebuild the custom compiled kernel as well as rework all the automation scripts required to seamlessly update every Untangle installation on the planet to work on a new OS in a reboot...

That's just a weekend's worth of work, seriously... don't know what's wrong with you people. Get with it already!

Maybe you should make a YouTube video while you're at it!

To the OP, in THEORY any 10gbit NIC that has the ability to work at 2.5gbit and 5gbit will work. In practice... this is a place where Intel specifically biffed it and we need younger drivers. You can compile them and add them to the current platform yourself... but beware... any kernel level upgrade is going to break those drivers and you might be in for some downtime or more work in the future. Such a thing is NOT supported.

Debian 11 will open some doors in this space, but we'll be working with the drivers available to Debian 11 AT LAUNCH not the stuff that's current. So it's not quite the panacea either. It will require testing.

at this rate we might not even see a new untangle release by end of this year. probably not even when debian 12 gets released.
while OPNsense/pfsense churns out major updates at least twice per year and following latest BSD updates.
