Default In Need of Asus P5v800-MX (Via P4M800) display driver

    Good Day to everyone!

I'm not that good on linux distros, anybody there had already installed a display driver for Via P4M800 chipset on UT 6.2?
My current resolution is just limited to 800 x 600.
I'm hoping to tweak it and adjust to 1024 x 768 resolution

    Hi,

    Read this PDF.
    http://fakenews.se/untangle/P4M800.pdf

The instruction is on how to install the driver on Debian 4.0, Fedora Core 7, Mandriva 2007.1 and Ubuntu 7.04.

    Thank you WebFool
I'll give this one a shot.

P.S. Is this applicable to Debian (Untangle 6.2 Lenny)

once the initial network configuration is done, does the resolution matter at all?

Just for me to view all the paramaters on the WebUI w/o the need to use side scroll.

yeah, but once you get the initial config done, just connect to it with a client computer via the WEBGUI. then it doesnt matter, and you dont risk borking up the UT box for something trivial

I hope a VGA driver for VIA P4M800 boards would be considered default on the next release (6.3)
    More power to Untangle
