Installing webmin, hellp

So I want to use untangle for a ssh server as well, a one that I can access while I'm away. So I want to install webmin to configure it... however facing a few problems, I get the webmin deb file I do

dpkg -i webmin_1.490_all.deb

And then it gives me

So it's obviously missing files from the respitory. How can I go around and get this working? On ubuntu it just goes and downloads those files by itself. Any ideas?
The solution posted on webmin's site was to do: apt-get install libnet-ssleay-perl

But untangle does not have that respitory.

I think it's in multiverse or universe.

Nevermind I got it I uncommented everything in the sources.list file and then refreshed the respitories, then tried installing it again, then did sudo apt-get install -f

Few things are wrong now, I can't connect to it at its ip 192.168.1.233:10000
And I changed the ssh to port 8080 and I can't connect to it via ssh.

Webmin works at the actual machine, and also I can't connect to ssh more, it times out on port 8080, and if I connect to the port 22 I get connectioned refuses.

why do you think you need webmin in order to maintain an SSH server?

it has ssh built in

Yes but I want it to run on port 8080, not 22.

Hmm I configured my pfsense router to do a port switch(I don't know the real name) but people connected to port 8080 on wan will be directed to port 22(lan) and it doesn't work. I am fairly sure a firewall is doing this, what firewall is untangle using? Is it iptables?

honestly, this box is a mess - i'd reinstall and start over and ask how to accomplish what you're trying to accomplish.

you can configure any port you like with the file /etc/ssh/sshd_config

man, this post might win the "most wrong" award of the day.

1.) You've taken a very tiny goal and made a huge project out of it.
2.) You don't know what you're doing but you made tons of changes to the internal configuration of the box.
3.) This box will be hosed starting tonight if auto upgrade is turned on because you will install all sorts of 'upgraded' packages over the custom stuff done on the untangle.

I don't want to sound harsh, but man, I'd really suggest you trash that box and start over.

If you want to run ssh on a port other than 22, enable sshd as per the wiki, and modify /etc/ssh/sshd_config for the port.

But installing webmin on a security gateway is just a bad bad idea.

Uhm, what are you guys talking about?
All I did was uncomment the the commented sources.
Then I successfully installed webmin
Configured it to swtich to port 8080, then I also changed the default encryption to 2048
I know exactly what I want to do. I want to tunnel traffic through it instead of my VM in my server.
But I want to use port 8080 instead of 22 because I use 22 for sftp on a different VM.

And before you guys think webmin is useless, I want to use it because I can configure other servers with untangle with it. I just need to know what firewall untangle is using, I want to guess iptables.
