    Smile Install problem

I installed it on one computer, so I know what to expect.

The install does not recognize the NIC card.

I proceeded and completed with the install. I downloaded the open source package and it proceeded to install. UT went out to lunch. The green bar was scrolling and it said installing.

Re-installing UT a second time and same problem.

Any ideas as what to do about these two problems???
    :)Thanks to all who help:)

post the specs of your computer, especially the NICs.
Abilities are not inherently Good or Evil, it's how you use them.

In order to be better, you have to be different.

The specific model number or chipset of the NIC would be helpful so that we can see if it's supported.

I changed the admin password and it works. However, when I type in the password for the terminal window, the window closes.
Is there a syntax for the password. It won't except it. I don't know linux.
