    Default Setting Up Transparent Bridge

I want to place my Untangle server between my current firewall and my internal switch just as a passive bridge. I will like to enable the reporting features so that I can analyze the type of internet traffic that we are experiencing. so to do this do I need give the Untangle Server an ip address/gateway/dns address?

Yes. Just set up your Untangle box in bridge mode when it asks during the installation process. Gateway will be your firewall.

All clients behind Firewall / Untangle will have their gateway to the firewall.
