    I'm assuming by SSD he means something like the Intel X25, not flash.

    you won't be able to run untangle on anything with limited writes.

    i assume it would install fine and work no?

    just that there is a good chance it will die faster then normal with all the log writes... but even then wouldn't it be a year or so before any damage would show?

    i found for me that untangle loaded faster with more cpu power, got 2 servers with the same harddrives, my quad core with 8g of ram loads a heck of alot faster then my dual core rig.
