The number of "ZOMG the upgrade killed my mother!" posts come streaming in whenever there is an announcement of an upgrade. It happens even when the new version is identical to the old version which suggests its mostly placebo effect.Quote:

Assuming everything goes well, about how long will Internet access through the box be unavailable? I can't remember if it's still available during the upgrade, or if it's down even during the upgrade and the reboot time.

I love the ZOMG posts... especially when they come from people who've had issues due to their own tinkering for ages and use the new version as a fresh excuse to revisit their old woes.
All done. The upgrade went perfectly with no problems.
