    Default How to backup UT config settings by terminal.

    Can you help me how to backup configuration settings of our existing untangle server using the terminal and saving it to a flash drive / for email.

    Why? Your best bet is to use the Backup/Restore in the GUI, I have used it several times and it is a great tool. It is located under Config>System>Backup (or Restore).

    Run the command below replacing FILENAME with one you want. It will then be located under the tmp directory.

    Code:
    /usr/share/untangle/bin/ut-backup-bundled.sh -o /tmp/FILENAME

    Will this work with UT Lite? The link on the wiki page re backup of UT Lite leads to the "Quick Install Guide for Untangle Lite," which has no content.

    yes it will work with UT lite.
