    Default Access Problems

So untangle has been working great but there seems to be a glitch. At first it was just saying "Internal Error" when I would try to access networking, but now I can't even access the management portal from inside the network. It seems to be working fine otherwise because I can access the internet. Any ideas? More specifically, any that I can do without restarting UT? Or would just a general restart of UT do the trick?

    Any help is great!
    Thanks.

That happens to me when the Untangle is overloaded.

Do you have attack blocker installed? How many computers are going through it? What is the hardware?

    Yes attack blocker is on.

It is an older gateway tower server. P4 I think. 1 gb ram and around 18 to 30 gb of space. It services 5 24/7 servers servicing web/game services to outside users. Plus 6 laptops and a couple gaming units.

Depending on traffic volume, you may be out of ram.

What network interfaces are in that thing?

So I tried restarting the machine. Did it properly and everything seemed to be fine. Network is back up and running. The main problem is I cant access the UT control panel. I tried locally on the machine itself and it didn't work. I also tried on a laptop connected to the network with no luck either. Any ideas?

On a side note, after the restart, sites that would usually get flagged and show up with a UT warning for spyware no longer do that.

So after a reboot you can't get into the admin interface on the console?

correct. and after the restart, all the modules seemed to have turned off because the spyware blocker doesnt block anything and ads are showing up now.

My guess would be some sort of drive issue.

Something has gone seriously wrong if the UI can't come up.

You can check /var/log/syslog and the logs in /var/log/uvm/
