    Default Wireless Behind Untangle

I have a client who is running an Untangle box (version 7.4) who only allows internet access to their employees to those who are on the "Pass" list based on their static IP address. They want to add a WAP to their network and allow full internet access to those who are connected to the WAP. Is there a way to do this without setting static IP addresses to the laptops?

put the WAP on a DMZ interface and put them on their own subnet.
to be understood, you must first understand. :)

Also, in advanced mode, under DHCP and DNS, I would put configure DHCP to give out addresses only on the DMZ:

    dhcp:eth2, 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.254, 14400

where eth2 is the DMZ interface and the IPs are the starting and ending points for the pool and 14400 is the lease time (default).

    The line, is dhcp-range=192.168.1.100,192.168.1.254,14400

Don't bother to specify the interface, DNSMasq will figure it out for you, and give you the ability to move DHCP to a different interface if you want.

Also, expect the packet filter to get in the way.
