Default trying to install untangle on Mac Mini Intel (2006)

I have a spare Mac Mini not used for anything which has a 2GB ram and 500GB Hard drive... ideal for untangle and small enough to fit in a 19" Rack cabinet.

It runs the install but crashes on both GRUB and LILO

    Any solutions ?
I already and Second NIC ( USB NIC )

I am just going to throw out a guess, but the EFI is going to make some devices show up differently to the guest OS, and the debian install being used may not 'like' that. I would sell the mac mini and use the money to build 3 untangles with standard hardware :P

Also, you might consider virtualizing on the Mac Mini, try VMware ESXi 5.0 you could have your WAN and Internal network delivered via a trunked connected into your single real Ethernet port. That would also hide the fact you are using a mac from the Untangle instance.

The mac mini is the ideal size to fit in the data cabinet with the Router , Windows home server and QNAP server...

Having only a Dua core 1.6Ghz CPU and 2GB ram might be slow as vmware virtual untangle ontop of Mac/Windows Host OS
