Initial installation and Setup

Hello guys,

Im just new in using the untangle. I heard from my fellow IT friends that untangle is one most and reliable firewall server.. Can you post a thread that show me how to install it ?? im just starter in using this software.

HI there,
The installation guide is very simple.
The big issues comes out when you start configuring basic things, and later put it on production. I will hardly recommend you to test it very well after going into production. The spam and web filter modules requires some tunning after basic install.

Since I´ve started using Untangle, one year ago, I´ve always thought that a pdf administrator´s guide would be very usefull.
As you can see, untangle inc doesn´t have a compelte installation guide.
This is why I´ve took the work to build the first untangle user manual. What we did was put the wiki in a legible and understandable format. I think it´s very usefull for someone new to untangle to have a "standard" user´s guide for administrators.
