Talking Network Diagram of Ung DHCP&DNS on multiple NICs

What I'm trying to accomplish (with some help)

All (5) internal networks are to be isolated from each other and Untangle will provide both DHCP & DNS at least initially.

You have way too many rules in those screen shots.

If you remove all custom rules, and yank the block DCHP on all interfaces system rule, does it work then?

If it does not, you have DNSMasq configured wrong or you have a cabling issue of some kind. Sorry about getting the service active before you secure it.

    Default Is this correct?

    I should ignore http://wiki.untangle.com/index.php/I..._Interfaces.3F

This is where I found those rules.

    Thanks

Those instructions are logically accurate, but I'm not sure why you'd create individual rules to replicate the functionality created by the block system rule for DHCP. That rule prevents all DHCP access, until you manually pass it.

And if you did decide to replicate the rule, you'll need to make sure the block rules are at the BOTTOM of the list. Rules are processed in order, and first matched rule wins.

I believe that my Roku box just registered with my DMZ NIC's DHCP. There may be life on other worlds!

A step forward but not a homerun.

Devices now work with DHCP on my DMZ NIC.

Devices do not work with DHCP on eth3, eth4 and eth5.

    Thanks
    Sid
