    Default Install VMTools on 5.2

After pulling my hair (and teeth) out on the downloadable version of Untangle 5.2 VM, I installed it directly from an ISO into VMWare - went in like a champ without issue.

Does anyone know how to install VMTools (I'm not a linux guru)?

THis is a link that gives the overview, but while it is technically accurate, it is functionally useless to someone that on a good day can barely open VI and close it again.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Copy everything you see in the window below and paste it in the terminal. This should take care of steps E. and F. Just pick up from there.

    cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.orig
echo "deb sarge main contrib non-free" >>/etc/apt/sources.list
    echo "deb sarge/updates main contrib non-free" >>/etc/apt/sources.list
echo "deb stable main premium upstream" >>/etc/apt/sources.list
    apt-get update
    apt-get install make gcc gcc-3.3 untangle-linux-headers-2.6.16-ck11-untangle-cd untangle-linux-headers-2.6.16-ck11-untangle-cd-486
    rm /etc/apt/sources.list
    cp /etc/apt/sources.list.orig /etc/apt/sources.list

Thanks for the assist, but the urls from the previous post are no good.

When I run the apt-get update I get a series of errors saying that there is "no such file or directory"

When I MAKE - I get "package make has no installation candidate"

Has anyone else been able to get the 5.2 VM download to actually RUN? Or build it from the ISO and actually get the VM tools installed?
