Default Cannot browse - External Static IP

    Hello,

Before I went to version 11, I was able to browse by my static external IP (I am router mode) from behind my UT box on the LAN. Ex: http://108.225.x.x:802 This no longer works and should bring up my shoutcast page to test, etc.

    Build: 11.1.0~svn20150430r40162release11.1-1wheezy

Any help is much appreciated. Let me know if any specific info is needed.

    Thanks!
    Joe

Alternatively, I'm sure many people can help you here.
They will just need information. If you are not wanting to share (which I'm guessing is the case given the fake IP) then it will be very hard to help on the forums.

How is your Untangle configured? What exactly is wrong? Is this a question about port forwards? If so, what is your port forward?
Is this a question about administration? How are your input filter rules configured? How is your WAN configured? etc etc.

If this is a port forward question, I can 99.9% guarantee this will be solved with a diligent following of:

I can get to it from outside of my UT box (verizon, etc)

http://108.225.25.161:802 <--real static ip in router mode (goes to my shoutcast server)

I just cannot browse the External static IP with or without any ports from behind my UT box from the LAN.

This is not an administration access issue.

You're running a shoutcast server on your Untangle?
What does "goes to my shoutcast server" mean?
If that is the IP of your shoutcast server, is it behind an Untangle? If so, How is Untangle configured?

You were right! It was a port forward configuration issue. I only had it configured for External Interface and not
Internal Interface. Updated the rule (see screenshot below) and it works now.

    Glad you figured it out.

As mentioned in the troubleshooting guide, I would suggest removing the source interface condition entirely.
