Spam Blocker only changes the situation in one case, that module is licensed either by the device count, or the mailbox count, whichever is larger.

I'm fairly certain the mailbox count is not used for some time now.

Yes, after rereading the wiki on the subject I believe you are correct.

Thanks again for the license answers..

I will order that sub 50 user and another 25 for another free server that yet another business is using.

along with a few more home licenses..

Thanks again to all of you on this forum for the years of free support and questions being answered.

    sky-night.

    I love his mantra..

Lets no forget mr dmorris.. proabably the reason we have a home license or he put his 2 cents in on it.

Then the countless others that will go unammed.

That have made this project what it is today.

The awesome routing firewall security appliance ever..

I hope some day all the plastic routers at staples have untangle on them or at least one.

    The one I can recommend.

    Thanks

How does WAN balance/failover work in regards to bypassed devices and devices over the licence limit?

they always use a random WAN link or a specific one?
Is there any way to know / configure which WAN link they should use?

WAN Balancer / Failover don't work on devices, it works on Untangle. Changing the default gateway and managing traffic. As such bypassed traffic is still handled.

Like the other apps, they are licenced on a per seat basis by Untangle. In practice they are the only apps that I am currently using but I am still getting the "licence exceeded. session not entitled" alert. I presume because I have a 100 seat licence and 126 max active.

I guess it is possible that the alert is the only thing that happens, and as you say they will otherwise work as normal.

WAN balancer rules will not apply to unlicensed devices.
