Default web filter vs web monitor

On default policy, I have "web filter" installed.

I created a kids policy and there is an option for "web monitoring" which is not available on default policy.

What is the difference and can I implement both?

On the 101:untangle for home video, there is a section on alert rules. Where can I find access the alert rules? Is the EVENTS section under config? I am trying to make an alert that will email me when new devices are seen on the network.

    Thank you.

Web Filter is the enhanced version of Web Monitor. If you have Web Filter, Web Monitor is not available since Web Filter succeeds it

    Yes, alerts is in /admin/

There's no reason to use Monitor if you have Filter, Filter is Monitor, with the ability to actually filter!
