    Default Untangle Upgrade Stuck at remote location

    Hi all

    Hope you could help me as Im stuck with upgrade.

    I have two Untangle boxes, one local one remote.
    I was upgrading from 15.0.1 and lost connection to it. The only way I could see it via Command Center. I could do Remote Access from Command Center and it shows following screen.

    Cant ping, from local Untangle box, cant access anything at remote site.
    It has been like this over an hour.

    Any ideas?

    I would really appreciate your help

    15.0.1 to 15.1 is an OS replacement upgrade, it can take HOURS. And if your hardware isn't healthy, it's known to eat hard disks.

    Hopefully it's just being slow...

    I have waited overnight Still no luck. Same screen, hasn't changed. I have tried to reboot from Command center, it did reboot but I still see same screen now.
    Is there anything else I could try?

    I'm afraid not, as an OS level upgrade if something goes wrong you're reinstalling. Which is why I recommended everyone disable automatic upgrades for that one, and schedule to be onsite with them while they did it. This is my standing recommendation for any OS upgrades Untangle performs.

    They work most of the time, but the few edge cases that have always burned me have been exactly like the unit you've got... the one way out of the way somewhere that's hard to get to.
