Default Brand new install - getting video error on first boot

Brand new hardware. i3 10th generation with uhd 630 graphics. H570 motherboard. 4GB ram. M.2 data ssd.

Install went fine as far as I can tell. At first boot it tries to load the VM and then I get the following error:

"The server has failed to properly detect correct video and monitor settings."

It lists several things to try, but nothing seems to work. I have tried several different monitors. I can't install another video card because I need the one pcie slot for a network card.

Have you tested to boot in to "safe" mode?

Grub list a few boot options and one should be "Graphical Safe mode"

Hello, I'm experiencing the same issue. I think this is due to the integrated graphics. I'm getting the error using a Ryzen 3 3200G
Maybe this version of the Linux kernel doesn't support it yet

Try all the boot options in Grub, every one of them is basically a different video tweak...

If NONE of them work... try connecting a device to the SECOND NIC in the system, statically configured to 192.168.2.100. Untangle's Internal interface will be configured on 192.168.2.1! So if you can find a NIC responding to that IP, you can complete first boot without the local GUI and move on with your life simply by aiming a web browser to 192.168.2.1.

It's... almost good enough to run headless these days.
