    Question WAN - config troubles

    Hello,

At my new house Im getting 10G symmetric fibre and the ISP requires the below settings to be applied in order to grant wan access.

You need to set the DHCP Option 60 for the WAN interface to 100008,0001 in the router configuration menu. You also need to set the VLAN ID to VLAN ID 10.

Im struggling to find where to apply that configuration onto the WAN interface.

Can anyone shed some light for me please?

That wouldn’t work as it is supposed to be configured onto the wan side…
Another ISP only requires VLAN ID 10 to the WAN

    Is this supported?

Yes, you need to enter DHCP options in Config -> Network -> Advanced -> DNS & DHCP Options. Create a VLAN with the WAN as its parent.

Thanks, the VLAN is quite straightforward, pretty much like any internal VLANs.

Where I get lost is onto the DHCP options. At the suggested path I only gave an open text field, what would I need to input in there?

    That’s what I thought…

However, the ISP that only requires VLAN ID onto the WAN side with NO DHCP options shall be supported by untangle right?
