Untangle for Windows Will not Start!!!

When you ask what user are you asking for windows? I have an Admin account with the user of MorrisonS.

The issue appears to be the SYSTEM account not getting vmware configured on install. To fix this run on the windows command prompt (where 13:28 is two minutes from your current time):

at 13:28 /interactive cmd.exe

On the command prompt that pops up run:

cd "c:\Program Files\Untangle"
.\UntangleForWindows.vmx

Then agree to the VMware player license and quickly either click the pop up about the shared folder or goto the Vmware menu at the top and Shared... and enable the shared folder for All. Then close vmware player and try starting the service again.

Thanks for the help but it's still not up all the way. systray status is running but I don't have the VM exe file we where looking for and web admin will not start. O and I can go to play boy.com

After you rebooted the vmware-vmx.exe process didn't start running?

No it did not. the systray is running but not vmware-vmx.exe process.

What user did you install as? Was it a local user or domain user? Was it in the Administrator group?

Does it ask for the license?
