No the VM starts and comes up to untangle log on page
Hay I have no apps installed when I log in.
I think thats because the original installation process was interrupted.
If that happens - the install is borked.
The best thing at this point is to uninstall, delete C:\Program Files\Untangle, reinstall
edit: btw, it was probably us who interrupted it that time you got the blue screen...
especially if that was a new install.
I'll reinstall and see.
I tried tbelote's suggestion and now see the vmware-vmx.exe in the processes tab running wheras never saw it before. It never prompted me for a license. The shared folder is currently set for "Always enabled". The host path is "C:\Program Files\Untangle\shared" and it's atrtributes is set to "enabled"
It's been 20min without interruption and the vmware-vmx.exe is not showing up in the task manager processes. When you refer to running as a service, what is the name of the service? The only service related to untangle I see in the services are:
Untangle Started Automatic Local System
VMware Authorization Service Started Automatic Local System
VMware DHCP Service Started Automatic Local System
VMware NAT Service Started Automatic Local System
VMware Virtual Mount Mgr Ext. Started Automatic Local System
The Untangle is still saying "Starting"
