About LinkBacksI see the option to upgrade to 5.4.2 in upgrade button. Is it safe to upgrade in a VMware enviroment? Any known issues? Problems? I know it's a snapshot away from going back, but still.. I would like to know if it's worth the effort yet.

It should be fine. Worth the effort? Depends on whether you want to wait for 6.0 or not.
I'll just wait then. It's been smooth sailing so far
