I hit continue and it finishes installation. Upon reboot I see the untangle logo, it finishes and I am hit with a command prompt asking me to login to unnamed local host.
I am guessing this is what the normal linux would look like upon first boot with out the untangle config.
I'm not even getting this far...
I just built a test machine and dropped in the latest downloaded version (6.1.0) and it boots from the CD but when it goes to the install screen, the monitor remains initialized but I see nothing but a back-lit screen.
The mobo is an ASUS M3A78-CM which has ATI RV610 integrated graphics. Are there switches I can run if I hit F6 (like in Ubuntu) or something else that may help with the video issue I'm having?

Just installed 6.02 perfectly fine. Guess I learned my lesson on reinstalling, I'll stick to the upgrades.
After my 6.02 was causing problems with not installing modules (just sat with the progress bar for installing going from 0-100 over and over non stop) I decided to try your
newly fixed 6.1 iso.
I am happy to report that it installed flawlessly with KVM etc attached. I did not watch the install so I can't say if any messages flashed up while installing but said it was fine at the end.
So problem A has been fixed and I am at problem B. After it reboots. The untangle display loads then goes to a black screen and sits there. If I hit a button the display comes up and sits me at
Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 untangle.example.com TTY1
Loading Untangle Net-Alapca iptable rule
If I hit enter again I get
untangle.example.com login:
and when I wait the "Loading Untangle Net-Alapca iptable rule" starts poping up again. My screen is filled with them.
Any suggestions?
To answer a question or 2, it was on the KVM again, I removed it, rebooted it same thing.
However after the untangle logo I get this message
trying to resume from /dev/sda2
no resume image, doing normal boot
Then the login prompt.
Does that mean anything at all?
I am getting the same thing. The only difference is that I was trying a fresh load from the latest ISO. I am downloading an old ISO now and will try installing from that and then upgrade from there.
Wasn't a difference, mine was from a fresh install of the latest as well...
Anything to try? Box has been down for a week now.
