Evening,
We have had a clean up of some VPNs and some remote servers moved to the same location as an existing tunnel.

we originally had 2 tunnels
a. had the remote network 10.0.255.0/24,10.0.254.0/24
b. had the remote network 10.0.71.0/24,10.0.72.0/24

the servers at tunnel b. have been moved to sit behind the tunnel a.

One of our untangle boxes (sits on premise) has had the VPN config updated so the remote network is 10.0.255.0/24,10.0.254.0/24,10.0.71.0/24,10.0.72.0/24. the VPN for b. has been disabled and it's all working as expected.

Another untangle box (sits in Azure) has had the same process done. with the exception of tunnel b. being deleted and we're now unable to get any connection on tunnel a..

looking at the logs I can see tunnel b. still trying to make the connection

15[IKE] no IKE config found for ourIP...OlddestinationIP, sending NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN
15[ENC] parsed IKE_SA_INIT request 0 [ SA KE No N((40002)) N(FRAG_SUP) V V V ]
15[NET] received packet: from OlddestinationIP to ourIP (462 bytes)
14[NET] sending packet: from ourIP to OlddestinationIP (36 bytes)

I'm wondering if this deleted tunnel is still holding the selectors/remote network (10.0.71.0/24,10.0.72.0/24)?

Tried;
Exported Config (check config for 'ghost' tunnel b., it's not present)
Removed IPsec VPN
Installed IPsec VPN
Imported Config

Also, i've rebooted the Untangle server in Azure.

Any one experienced anything like this before? Is there anywhere I can look to clear the tunnel b. completely?

Thanks

Pete
