+1 Genius or no, the time sky-night freely invests here actually helping people shouldn't be taken for granted. It would be nontrivial to replace his contributions. That's a fact.

Everyone please calm down. We don't recommend upnp, but there are use cases where it is valid and serves a purpose (that's why we went through the effort to add it!) Sent from my Nexus 6P using...

Jim.Alles liked post by jcoehoorn On thread : Is IPS needed in this situation
IPS can also add value by detecting outbound threats, alerting you to hosts within your network which are potentially compromised, or at least behaving badly. Nevermind... Sky-night already...

Airprint uses mdns (bonjour). As far as I know it is not routable. If you find a way let us know.

I've tested connetcting monitor, keyboard and mouse to untangle box. Using chromium I can connect to 192.168.1.1 web page without any problem. It's a http connection.

Example port forward rule for this. The rule could be tweaked, but it works as-is so I haven't bothered streamlining/cleaning it up. I wanted to be 100% sure the port forward wouldn't affect...

That is super simple. Make a port forward that any DNS traffic that is outbound, and not from the Untangle IP, gets redirected to the Untangle IP. I'm pretty sure I have posted pics of my port...

It was this month! brand new license band. And yes, it's perfectly sized for micro-office or that tiny branch. I haven't tried to sell it yet, but it's a welcome thing.

If an install is working at all, I'd be suspicious of the RAM in the unit. Time to run a memtest, because bad RAM on Linux can manifest as an intermittently defective disk.
