Default How to block mail from mail.mylife.com?

I've been getting bombarded with spam from this place, anyway that I can outright block all mail from this domain? I'm not seeing the option, don't know if I'm missing something.

If it truly cannot do that, it's a sorely needed feature!

Blacklist is a missing feature that needs to be there. I hope this is fixed in 6.3.

you can create a packet filter or a firewall rule to block their ip/subnet.

    Hi techiesooner,
    I recomend you to create a block.cf in /etc/spamassassin

    in that file enter
    Code:
    blacklist_from *@mail.mylife.com
Now all mails from that domain will get a score of 100

When the file is create restart spamassassin by running /etc/init.d/spamassassin restart
This will restart spamassassin and load the block.cf file.

I would just have your email server not accept mail from that location.

I thought I read that this will get wiped out when the system does an update. If not this is simple enough of a solution.

    Thanks!!

Can I use wildcards in the block.cf file?

I get emails from certain domains that change a little but the last hald of the domain stay the same.

for example, instead of *@domain.com can I also do *@*.domain.com or *@*domain*??
