Default Replacing ISA with untangle 7.0.1

I am hoping that someone will spot the deliberate mistake. I have a server with 3 nics of which only 2 are connected. The first one 10.2.xxx.1 is connected to an adsl modem. The second 10.2.xxx.3 is connected to a linksys switch and onto the rest of the internal network. I don't seem to be able to route to the internal nic on 10.2.xxx.3. From the internal network I can't ping 10.2.xxx.3 and from untangle I can't ping addresses in the internal network (address unreachable. (the reason for this is that its pinging via the external nic 10.2.xxx.1 and via the internal 10.2.xxx.3.
The untangle server does not have any problems access the internet via 10.2.xxx.1 as expected. I am hoping that this is straight forward and someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you.

i'm assuming that the adsl modem is already doing the NAT. If this is the case, just bridge the int interface to external.
