    Default Untangle as NLB

    Hello,

Can I configure Untangle as NLB? To work as NLB for Internal Clients, if one node fails the second takes all the loads. And if both lives, both nodes shares the loads equally,

    Thanks,

We have certain NG models capable of active-passive failover. We do not have active-active failover yet. Neither is "officially" supported by Untangle.

I just realized that I did forget a critical detail.

Untangle does support the Interface Master's Bypass card. So it is possible to have an Untangle bridge fail open. If the Untangle hardware fails, the hardware becomes a switch allowing traffic through unimpeded.

Creative combination of that feature, with Cisco routers on both sides can be made to simulate active-active failover.
